Brotherly Love

Joshua is a great big brother. He's very helpful and attentative to his little brother's needs. And Luke is smitten. He stares at Joshua all the time and gets the biggest kick out of him. These boys are growing up so fast and we're enjoying every minute of it. Okay, almost every moment except for those sleepness nights and outings to restaurants when one of the two has to act up.

Who Me?

He's as wild as ever - Luke loves his exersaucer! Notice the giant scratch mark on his face. I finally cut his nails last night. Hopefully, he won't have any new scratches on his face any time soon. And he started drooling too. It's not quite a faucet yet, but when he starts teething in a couple of months, I suspect that he'll turn into one just as Joshua did. He's slowly getting over his cold. The hacking cough is still here, but it's getting a little better. His congestion is much better so we're hopeful he'll be 100% this long, holiday weekend.

Dip and Sticks

Kevin taught Joshua about Dip and Sticks today. And of course, Joshua quite liked it!

Pool, Play and Lunch with the Webers

What a busy Sunday! We joined the Webers at our n'hood pool today where the kids splashed in the pool and swam like fish. All three have taken quite well to the water. After wearing themselves out at the pool the Webers came over to our house for some play time and lunch. And are you sitting down? Instead of getting take out - we cooked/prepared lunch. We had cheeseburgers, hotdogs, fruit salad, chips and cupcakes. It was a delicious meal. And rumor has it that Kevin should grill more often!

Below are a couple pics of the kids enjoying their cupcakes.

Our Trip to Destin

We went to Destin for a long weekend with the Wrights. We went to the beach and got plenty of pool time in too. The boys also went to the "Track" where they raced go-carts, drove water boats, rode an airplane ride, merry-go-round and train. We had a delicious meal on the harbor, a couple good PB&Js and a very tasty margarita. The boys had a lot of fun and Joshua keeps asking when he can go back to Florida. The ride was tough, Luke Michael doesn't like to sit in his car seat. But other than the ride back, we had a fun trip. I will post more pics when Ellen sends me hers - her pics are always better!

This is my favorite picture of Joshua. He's so happy here!!!

Beach Time

Joshua having a blast at the beach. He played in the ocean with his Dad, played in the sand w/ Tim, his Dad and me, chased birds and relaxed some underneath the umbrella. I think he enjoyed chasing the birds the most. And then building sand castles was a close second.

Joshua and Tim got in plenty of pool time. As you can see, swimming lessons were truly worth every penny. Joshua jumps in and swims by himself all the time now. He's even practicing diving.

The little ones hanging out

Matt and Luke were very smart... they stayed inside the family room while the older boys played outside and got all hot and sweaty in the 97 degree weather. Ellen took better pics of these boys that I'll eventually post. Luke decided that an Amstel migh be nice to help him cool down!
