Just Another Thursday Morning...
The mornings are hectic, but tons of fun. While I'm exhausted before it's even 8:30 AM, it's worth it! Who ever would of thought I'd have such an awesome family! Kevin is the best husband, friend and partner I could ever have, but with that being said, the boys make my life/family complete. I had an outing the other night w/ my lady friends (thanks Kevin for letting me get out for a night) and one of them pointed out that I swore that I'd never have another after Joshua. She was right, I didn't think I would EVER, EVER have another after what we went through. I'm so thankful that I didn't stay closed minded and that Kevin helped me change my mind. Luke is tied with Joshua for first as the best gifts life has given me thus far. Kate Spade purses, designer clothes, jewels, steak dinners at high end steak houses, and other material things used to be what put a smile on my face, and now it's my family (okay I'd be lying if I didn't admit that the designer purses from my Mom still put a grin on my face). I guess I've grown up, but family - my husband and my boys - are truly the best gift I've ever received (and worked for b/c it's not all just fun and games) and make me smile now. Sometimes I smile so hard I practically get a cramp. While I'm a little envious of my friends who are able to vacation w/o their kids and have grandparents fighting and lining up for a Saturday sleepover, I've got it good too. A husband who adores me, and two sons who warm my heart and truly have made me a better person! In the scheme of things, what more could a Mom/Wife ask for!

The Boys Clowning Around on a Friday Night...
Luke hamming for the camera after dinner. He had pasta shells w/ a cheese sauce. He wasn't really a fan of it but shoveled some in his mouth anyway. I had puffs and some yogurt as back up, which ate.
Joshua is so over me taking his picture now. It's like he can't be bothered. Excuse me Mr. Big Boy!
Collage of Joshua and Luke when Joshua was Luke's age.
