Disney World 2008

We braved it to Disney World this past week. I was a tad nervous about all of us going (Luke almost didn't make the traveling team), but it was an awesome trip and I'm so glad we all went. The boys had a blast and even though it was a ton of work and exhausting, Kevin and I had fun too. It was nice to have the Wrights there as the kids really enjoyed themselves and so did we. Our days were jammed packed with activities:
Tuesday night - Epcot
Wednesday AM - Magic Kingdom: PM - Animal Kingdom
Thursday AM - Magic Kingdom and water boat rentals: PM - Pool
Friday AM - Epcot: PM - Pool

Joshua was an excellent big brother. The boys LOVED the park and had such a good time!

Dining with Pooh and Friends

One of our outings included lunch with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. It was chaos at its finest, but the kids really enjoyed themselves and it was a memorable event.

Tiger was a big hit

Luke liked his nose

Pooh was less than steller

Luke wasn't really into Pooh like he was Tiger and Piglet

Luke Loves Piglet

It's difficult to tell from these pictures, but Luke LOVED Piglet. Out of all the characters from our lunch with Pooh and Friends, Piglet was by far his favorite.

Luke realizing Piglet is nearby and he's reaching for him

Luke finally got his attention and is impatiently waiting for him

He begins to act more like me and gets very impatient, almost getting ready to have a meltdown

Finally, he is able to hug and visit with his new best bud, Piglet

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was super cool. We all went on a safari and then the Dads and older boys went on a rapids ride that was a ton of fun, but left them soaking wet.

Bringing down Joshua's bike

"Oh Joshua's bike, I'm going to play with it!"

"He, he, look at me!"

"Uh-uh!"

"I guess now I have to pick it back up - darn it!"

Joshua getting ready for his first t-ball game

Joshua had his first t-ball game last weekend and he did great. It was a little chaotic, but what can you expect from a bunch of 4-year and 5-year olds. He played well and and had fun.
