Happy Halloween - 2008

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Jango Fett and Chewbacca enjoyed Halloween this year. I think Joshua's, I mean Jango Fett's, favorite part was firing his super, cool blaster and of course eating his candy! Luke did a little trick or treating, but kept getting upset because he wanted to go into the houses and not just get his treats. It was actually rather funny. He's very social. We hope everyone had a fun-filled and safe Halloween.

Clowing Around

The boys were in rare form tonight. I'm not sure if Luke was fired up b/c of his new hair-do, or if the box with their table and chairs had anything to do with it... but they were so cute and funny tonight.

They played Star Wars for a while... that was fun!

Joshua was more into "the force" than Luke.

Joshua is so sweet, but he does get this tricky look sometimes that he's had since he was about 6 mos old. You can see it in this picture.

I think Luke is over the whole taking pictures together thing... probably b/c Joshua's grasp was a tad too tight!

I was bothering Joshua so I turned my lens on Luke again, and I caught him posing on the box. He reminds me of Burt Reynolds in that Cosmo from back in the 80s that Slater tried to mimic not too long ago.

Luke is always so disheveled. Snot everywhere, clothes falling off, one shoe on, and one off, food, sand or snot in his hair. He's a hot mess, or as Joshua says sometimes, "a maniac."
I know, this picture is almost identical to the one above, but I think Luke looks just like Kevin in this picture.

Fall is here!

Kevin grilled out last night and Grandpa Ron and Aunt "TT" Jaime joined us. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard, and the highlight of the evening was getting to jump in a pile of leaves.

The First Cool Morning of Fall

Despite the morning being a tad hectic, I couldn't resist taking pictures of the boys this morning. It may have been their jackets, but they both seemed so grown up to me. Summer has definitely come to an end and we're already getting some of the cooler weather. I think it was 48 degrees when we left for school. With Fall, comes beautiful weather and Halloween! Maybe we'll make a trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend while we anxiously await their Halloween costumes to arrive. Joshua will be Jingo Fet and Luke will be Chewbacka. Yep, we're going with the Star Wars theme this year.
