Before we head up for bed, we sometimes will watch a show and drink strawberry milk to help the kids wind down. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Clearly, it's not working - lol. Joshua going crazy, and Luke dancing.

Joshua came down with his first case of strep about two weeks ago. He took his medicine like he was supposed to, and his fever broke w/in 24 hours after his first spoonful. It appeared all was well. In the meantime, Luke spiked a 104 fever. Long and short - he went to the doctor a few times, and on his third visit, which was Friday, they did blood work to rule out anything more serious. Good news, all is well. As we were waiting for his results, my phone rang. I checked the caller ID, and low and behold - it's Joshua's elementary school - he was in the nurse's office w/ a sore throat. So, after we dropped Luke's prescriptions off, we headed to get Joshua only to go back to the doctor's office. Joshua was running a 103 fever. Sure enough, he has strep again, or maybe it just never went away. He's on another antibiotic and hopefully this time, he'll kick it. I'm suspect though that on top of the strep he may have what Luke had. My poor little Milman boys. They had a rough go of it, but the good news is that they are both on the mend.

Friday afternoon - Luke and Joshua were both running high fevers and pathetic!

Sunday afternoon - all is well in the Milman household - yay!

Snow hits the Southeast

The snow that the weather channels and AP predicted finally hit us on Friday afternoon. I made chili and we had a ton of fun in the snow both last night and this morning. Luke wasn't into getting wet and cold last night, but he hung in like a champ this morning while the boys made snowmen, and had a snowball fight. I think the highlight of Winter 2010 was driving, well trying to drive, the 4-wheeler and Jeep on the ice and in the snow.

About two inches of snow... and loving it.

The kids' rides kept getting stuck, but that's what made it so much fun!

Dried off, and ready to relax some.
