Snow Mountain 2009

Welcome to Snow Mountain

Joshua went tubing on his own on his last run.

Luke and Matt were too little so they went tobogganing and had a blast. On Luke's first run, he fell off and rolled down the hill cracking up laughing the entire way.

Joshua and Luke building a snowman.

The final Wright and Milman product.
Luke getting into the action - I'm not sure who had more fun, Luke or the older boys.
Tim and Joshua getting ready to go down their first run.

This is why I am okay with my job!

Sometimes not being in the corporate rat race fighting for enhanced revenue streams and monetizing opportunities is weird for me since that's what I did for 10+ years. However, I switched jobs almost a year ago and while I still work for a company, it's a completely different set up and my role is very different than it has been in the past. I have tons of flexibility, no stress and I get to stay engaged in the energy industry and get paid decently. More importantly, I don't have to wake my kids up at the crack of dawn and rush, rush, rush out of the house every morning just to drop my boys off at daycare so I can be at my desk before 8 AM to make a positive impression on the boss and the boss' boss. Because unfortunately, a lot of the time, it's all about face time - wtf! I digress. So, my point is, I am very lucky. Every morning I get to hang out w/ my kids and some mornings it's just a lot of fun!

The boys snuggling before breakfast one morning when it was below freezing outside.

They are completely ignoring me b/c the Higglytown Heroes are on TV.

This morning, Luke was feeling better and they were both in rare form.

I'm not sure who was having more fun, them or me watching them!

The Day After Christmas

Uncle Jason and Aunt Alice came by for a visit and brought tons of really neat stuff for the boys. The huge hit was the Iron Man rocket launcher.

Luke getting confused -- Santa brought him the big wheel, not the ATV!

The boys winding down with coloring and painting activities before bed time.

Christmas Eve 2008

Kevin, the boys and I hosted Christmas Eve dinner - a tradition that my Mom and Jim started many, many years ago. What better way to celebrate the Christmas spirit than spend it with family. A good time was had by all!

Grandma Stephanie and Joshua hamming for the camera.

Kevin and Uncle Harris getting their bourbon on!

Aunt Jaime, Uncle Harris and Grandpa Ron enjoying apps before dinner.

Luke being a hot mess, nothing is different on Christmas Eve!

Joshua's first tattoo... sort of

Joshua got his first tattoo... well his first fake tattoo. He's quite impressed w/ his snake and skull tat. I'm just glad that this will wash off eventually!
