Father's Day

Kevin's second Father's Day included: sleeping in, going to Waffle House and reading the paper in peace, a nap, cute cards and a few cool gifts, grilling out and spending time with the family. Ron and Jaime joined us for hotdogs and hamburgers later in the day. We busted out Joshua's aligator pool and he really enjoyed it. He's not as scared of the water any more and he doesn't seem to mind getting splashed as much either -- good thing!

Here are a few pictures from Father's Day.

Learning about frosting for the first time - and it's yummy!

Family Time

What an eventful weekend we had! My family from the West was in town last weekend and Harris was in town for a wedding but fortunately for us he was able to spend most of his Saturday visiting with us. The boys had a great time playing with the hose, playdough and all of the toys in Joshua's playroom.

The Milman Men - Uncle Harris, Joshua and Daddy

This is the second time Dad and G-ma May have seen Joshua and the last time was December 2004 so he's certainly changed since their last visit. In typical Joshua fashion, he was a ham and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention.
Joshua with his new shark mug. Notice the little smirk on his face.
He's trying to put his foot on the table - something he knows he's not supposed to do but is showing off for his Great G-ma May and Aunt Janis.
We went to dinner on Sunday night to celebrate since my Dad's b-day was at the end of May and Father's Day is this weekend. The food was delicious, except the Ceasar salad which was soaked in dressing.

Me, Dad, Janis, Jaime Kevin and Grandma May posing after a huge meal. The waiter that took the picture was trying to flirt with Jaime but she wasn't having any of it that night.

Cheers!

Fish - I Love Fish

We took the Quans, Stephanie and Jaime to the GA Aquarium with us last weekend. Even though it was really crowded, it was pretty neat. Joshua was a huge fan and the crowds didn't bother him one bit. He would just elbow and wiggle his way to the display/exhibit or his Grandma Stephanie would bob and weave them to the front. Once he got there, he would press himself up to the glass and spread his arms wide and make fish faces almost as if he was in the tank with all the fish. We all got a kick out of how much he enjoyed the fish, whales jelly fish and sharks.

I love fish!

I Look Like My Mom

Here are pictures of Joshua and me when I was around his age… while he’s a good combination of both Kevin and me, I think he favors his Mom!
