My plan for Christmas 2007 was to have an adorable picture of our boys dressed alike on Santa's lap. Well, that idea was nixed when we saw this year's Santa at our usual Santa spot. If you can't tell from this picture, the usual awesome Santa was a little more like a country bumpkin' Santa. I mean seriously, Santa's hair was greasier than mine and that's pretty tough to beat when I'm only washing it about every 3 or 4 days lately. And thank goodness Joshua isn't any older, otherwise he'd know that this Santa, well he wasn't the jolly St. Nick that he's come to know and love. Santa should have kept his hat on, because it was a frightful site. It's no wonder baby Luke was practically in tears.
We decided to go to another Santa outing w/ our dear friends, Ellen and Jon and their boys. Despite being at their church, it was anything but relaxing and peaceful. The boys, in typical fashion, were wild and excited. Having Santa there only added to their cause. We're not sure exactly how it happened, but poor Tim took a tumble and ended up getting wacked in the eye by a pole. Luckily, he only needed a few stitches and it wasn't any more serious. A centimeter to his right and it could of been tragic. Poor Kevin, he was a wrek the rest of the morning and stressed to the max despite the fact that Tim was okay and even waited around to decorate ornaments and visit with Santa. That kid is a trooper! It's so much fun w/ these boys. Amazingly, the older boys are less than a month apart and the younger boys are about 5 weeks apart. These boys are trouble... sweet as they are, they are T-R-O-U-B-L-E!

I'm sure all of you noticed that Luke has the tendancy to have his mouth open and tongue hanging out 24/7. Well, given that the kid's adenoids were "huge" and blocking 85% of his air passage way it's no wonder he's a mouth breather! Luckily, he's doing much better post surgery and he's even closing his mouth some. Once the swelling goes away and the scab falls off and he's completely healed, we look forward to mouth closed photos although he is pretty darn cute, open mouth, tongue a wagging, drool and all!
